Do not bring your car and have fun, odds are you'll end up regretting it due the fact that most of the cars on the track aren't standard but besides the point you'll be disappointed if you end up damaging or even breaking your engine, one thing you should remember is that factory cars are made with emphasis on one thing, normal day to day driving, not pushing it to the limit on a 1/4 or half mile or even circuit and oval tracks, and I can guarantee you that you'll end up damaging your car. Come and gain some fundamental experience and learn the basics before you take your car on the track, don't be afraid to ask any of the drivers for advice, they won't bite or grab you by the neck. Always make sure your car is safety inspected and wear your safety belt. If you want to race always do it on a local track and keep it off the streets. Regards.

@ DaredevilGTI I'd say the best way to start is by attending events, be it ice and dice, drifting or any form of event. Not only would you be obtaining invaluable experience but you'll also get an idea of which form of racing you'd be interested in. Continued on next post

@daredevilGTI The best way is to start off by attending our Ice & Dice events on the second and last Sundays of every month and bring your car along to the Rock and have some fun with it.
